A schoolboy has been charged with violating laws against child prostitution and selling child pornography after he started a small pornographic enterprise selling DVDs to the denizens of a shotacon board.
The youth, a third year high schooler, was found to have advertised his pornographic compilations online, selecting a board dedicated to those with an interest in shota.
“I made it myself, so it’s cheap” – in the first five months of 2008 he apparently sold 35 DVDs, each containing illegal shota related pornography, to three men using the regular postal system. However, the proceeds from these sales was, according to police, a meagre ¥28,000.
It seems the youth was economical with the truth to his customers as well, for he admits “I downloaded the images online whilst I was at home.”
It’s not clear whether he actually made any himself, though presumably it would need additional participants to be illegal given he had apparently turned 18 at the time.
Police were looking to include additional charges against him.

instead of going after real criminals who do real crime, police are lazy and go for easy pickings.
does that make him a third grader, video/cyber pimp?
I have to assume they were pictures of him, because I don’t see how you could consider shotacon prostitution even if UNICEF did win and it became CP like in all the english nations.
..i sensed a live-action Boku no Pico in his collections…
Wait, if the laws are to protect kids, why hold a kid responsible? Doesn’t that like..defeat the purpose.
18 – maybe a kid in Japan, but an adult mostly everywhere else… And definitely already capable of cause-and-effect and crime-and-punishment logic, so it’s hardly ignorance, innocence, and naivete!
