Whilst most visitors may have had trouble keeping their eyes off Shimakaze, the attire of the numerous meandering cosplayers of Wonder Festival 2014 are of just as high quality as the ever iconic figures decorating the rest of the show – with some baring even more appeal than the figures.
Narrowly avoiding wintery wipeout from the record-breaking blizzard which carpeted Kanto the day before, Wonder Festival 2014 Winter has gone off without a hitch, showing off all the gorgeous figures due to hit stores over the coming year.
Miku fans have been pleased to note the exceptional cuteness of their virtual idol’s 2013 foray into the Super GT under the auspices of “Team Miku.”
WonFes 2013 Winter also sees its scores of figures joined by scores of cosplayers and cosplaying booth babes – many of whom rival even the figures in sexiness.
WonFes 2013 Winter once again proved a treasure trove of new anime figures, goods, and other otaku essentials, with 2013 set to be a year of outstanding releases (and for overseas anime fans, finally a return to a more favourable exchange rate).
The real meat (often in a rather literal sense) of Wonder Festival’s 2012 summer outing is of course not the cute and sexy cosplay but the cute and sexy figures – and thankfully they are looking as good as ever, and sure to feature heavily in otaku shopping lists for many months to come.
