The new Winter 2009 series from KyoAni, “Sora o Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai”, perhaps better known as the Munto TV series, has recently aired its first episode.
The TV adaptation is repeating events from the original OVA series before continuing the story properly, so this comparison image showing the new version alongside the old seems appropriate…

A TV programme purporting to bust lies has itself been busted for lying.
The show, ウソバスター / Uso Buster (Lie Buster), purported to concern itself such searching questions as “If you massage a Satsuma, will it sweeten?”, along with uncovering the wicked half-truths and outright fallacies spread on the Internet, which as any TV viewer will know is far less reliable than the unerring wisdom of the mass media.

There are rumours amongst Shoko-tan fans that she is not long in the world of show business, and that the cosplay idol and blog queen will soon be forced out entirely, having completely fallen from grace.
Exemplifying this is what must have been a crushingly humiliating appearance in a recent episode of variety programme “Anmitsu Hime 2”, where she was snubbed so completely as to not even have been given a microphone, let alone any sort of role:

This unfortunate image of the state of Kallen‘s breasts in the Japanese DVD and TV versions of Code Geass, versus the American TV version, illustrates that although the currently popular tactic of censoring TV broadcasts to provide something cheap and saucy to put on the DVD is odious enough, at least nobody in Japan has any serious moral objections to oppai on their screens…
