Combining some of the most tired Japan related memes available, “strange items sold from vending machines – only in Japan!” and “things which shouldn’t be canned but are anyway – crazy Japanese!”, along with moe marketing, this Touhou tea-in-a-can vending machine looks set to become a favourite for desperate Akiba news sites.
The vending machine is currently operational in central Akihabara near all the interesting PC parts shops (right by T-Zone it would appear), so some of you may wish to pay a visit, if only to gawp.

The latest Vocaloid MAD currently enjoying considerable success on Nico is the new Smooooch・∀・ × VOCALOID, a video featuring all the key virtual idols.
Despite the simple but cute animation style, the video currently holds a spot in the daily top ten with over 186,000 views. A Touhou version has already made its appearance…

The Touhou anime has proven a resounding success, much to the delight of many and the irritation of some, but it seems Maikaze were not quite as vigilant as we might hope in the production process, for we notice some fairly large errors, documented below.
Of course, nobody is seriously castigated the otherwise excellently produced doujin OVA on this account…
