Top Lama: “Violent Video Games as Good as Meditation”

The Karmapa Lama, one of Buddhism’s top leaders, has stated that not only does he play violent video games, he also thinks they are as effective as meditation in freeing the mind of worldly passions.

He also professes a liking for hiphop, though is too coy to name specific artists…

    I live in America and such rights to arms are all fine and well, but I've also lived in Japan and the crime and violence rate there is much lower because the average people there... More

China has been implicated in a global online spying network which infected some 1,300 government computers from over a hundred nations; the network, dubbed “GhostNet”, stole industrial and commercial secrets but also targeted Tibet and Taiwan.
