Pantsu fiend Yoshika wearing her suspiciously pantsu-like “trousers” on her head. Adapted from the ascii art version you see below. You can see some other interesting works too…

Episode 27 of tame loli anime Zettai Karen Children has sprung more than a few surprises, with no fewer than three different crossover cameos appearing in the episode. Perrine, Sanya and Eila of Strike Witches all appear in the classroom, the girls of Lucky Star also appear in another background (with brown hair no less), and a certain green haired Macross singer appears illustrated in her “Kira” pose.

The Strike Witches rendered into something of a unique visual style for a pantsu anime, namely that of a child’s illustrated story book. I suspect sales would be brisk were they to actually release such a volume.

This particular image of Strike Witches Mio and Mina enjoying some R&R on the beach is part of the poster series just getting underway, and was highly anticipated. It is not hard to see why. But why is Mio looking so troubled?
Hopefully, next up will be the new onsen pin-up, but whilst you wait you may want to have a look at a summery substitute… Or just check out more Strike Witches images.

The huge success of the Strike Witches DVD edition has been accompanied by a commemorative event at Akihabara, with the cast in attendance; although the hoped for news of a second season did not emerge, announcements did include the news that there are to be Strike Witches games for both the Nintendo DS and the PS2.
