Cosplay kickboxer Yuichiro Nagashima has recently earned notoriety for his crossdressing kickboxing antics, but it appears a new challenger has emerged: DJ.taiki, introduced as the “Destruction Butler”, appeared cosplaying the eponymous Hayate, of Hayate no Gotoku.
Unlike Yuichiro, he is a mixed martial artist rather than a pure kickboxer.

After 24 long years, Hanshin Tigers fans can finally heave a sigh of relief with the news that a long lost statue of Colonel Sanders has been reassembled, after it was recovered from Osaka’s Dotonbori River.
The statue has long being linked with a curse that plagued the team since it was first lost to the unwholesome depths of the Dotonburi, and fans around Japan hope it might finally mark a return to form for the team.

Mongolian yokozuna Asashoryu recently debuted as a fashion model, and a cosplayer to boot, waddling down the catwalk in support of Fanta sales.
In the event, called Shibuya Girls Collection, and held at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Asashoryu modeled a typical Prussian cadet uniform, the standard for Japanese boys, much to the delight of the 20,000 crowd, most of them female teenagers.
