Fans of R-15 are rejoicing at the extent to which the anime is finally benefiting from the tremendous visual quality brought by Blu-ray and DVD, which banishes glare, mist, interposing foreground objects and all manner of other visual artefacts.

Thanks to the power of Blu-ray, flaccid ecchi anime R-15 is finally starting to look as though it lives up to its name – although it is by now probably too late.
