Bandai Lies to Protect Xbox Owners’ Feelings

tales-of-vesperia-deceit-1.png

With the news that the additions planned for the long-awaited PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia appear to have been present from the start, Bandai have been accused of betraying Xbox owners with the “exclusive” nature of the game’s Xbox release.

This plainly casts doubt on her “new” status, and possibly suggests that all this was planned from the start?

Well received PC eroge 11eyes -罪と罰と贖いの少女- / 11eyes -Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shoujo- has had an Xbox 360 port announced for a 2009 release, according to the official announcement by developers Lass and company. Samurai Spirits Wii

Samurai Spirits Wii - Mina Majikina

The excellent 2D fighting series Samurai Spirits/Samurai Shodown looks set to get a new release on the Wii and PS2, as サムライスピリッツ天下一剣客伝 / Samurai Spirits Tenkaichi Kenkaku Den, although they seem to have unfortunately stopped short of making it into a sequel. It appears the previous games will also be included.

The only upgrades promised seem to be rerecorded voices and a colour editor, along online bouts for the PS2 and a minigame for the Wii – seems they got things the wrong way round there. Release is set for July 24th. I can’t help but think they would do well to put some more effort into this franchise. Story and screens here.
