Capcom has announced that much lusted after later mainstay of the Street Fighter series Cammy is to feature on the home editions of the game, due for release February 12. Presumably, she will also feature in the anime.
Since Cammy’s basic purpose is posterior service, I shall obligingly reproduce a few such images at the end of the article.

It seems it’s never too late to start gaming: 北島彰 / Akira Kitajima, or aki_tan, has been following first person shooters (itself a rare enough thing in Japan) since starting with Doom, when he was a 65-year-old stripling, and is now still playing at 78, as well as writing guides and updating his site.
He recently gave an interesting interview, translated for your information below:

Konami’s technological level has recently attracted concern, with the news that the 3D version of its “Aquanaut: Online Aquarium”, surprisingly enough a game of aquarium simulation, takes a rather drastic uninstallation measure – quoth their website:

Final Fantasy XIII to get a PC version? Yes, according to no less a source than Nvidia itself, unless this is some sort of misunderstanding; see below for their words.

Finally some substantive SF IV news; we have details on three new characters (with more apparently to come), release news (game is in final testing stages, announcement likely soon), and of course plenty of screens of the new characters.
The characters:
Rufus: giant American fat man type – can’t wait to see him in motion.
El Forte: Mexican lucha libre masked pro-wrestler type.
Seth: evil scifi shiny cyborg CEO boss type.
Nothing uneventful there then. And so on to look at Famitsu’s numerous screens. Now only to wait for the release details?

Some release details for the latest instalment in Capcom’s Street Fighter series have emerged, and in part they are extremely surprising. Famitsu confirms it will be a multiplatform release for the PS3, Xbox360 and, oddly enough, the PC. Details of the price and release date for each platform are unfortunately yet to be announced. The article also carries some details of a tawdry Hollywood cash in, which I will not bore you with.

Falcom offers up a promising looking action RPG for the PC, “ZWEI II”, set for release this summer, with a few screenshots just released, and mirrored below. This is refreshing news given the poor condition of PC gaming in Japan (if we exclude visual novels and the like), but what I am really keen to know is whether this will be fully voiced or not – no info as yet.
Graphics look none too bad; full 3d, and there is the comment that characters display their current equipment on their actual models, a nice touch. I am liable to comment favourably on any RPG involving demon girls – there is indeed one in evidence, with splendid crimson eyes the colour of hellfire, and she is co-protagonist. In case you were wondering, the original ZWEI is a title from 2001, which I will confess to having never heard of.

For those that are not familiar with RECETTEAR〜アイテム屋さんのはじめ方〜 (Recettear: How to start an Item Shop), it is a fantasy business RPG, produced and published by dojin-soft outfit EasyGameStation.
It is really rather good – read on for an appraisal and plenty of screenshots.
