The mature and lovable Chino of Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka? has received birthday wishes from her legions of followers, naturally causing them to construct the usual shrines adorned with illustrations and cake, but also offering tributes to her faithful Angora companion as well.
The outlandish 7-meter long Monster Musume no iru Nichijou dakimakura, formerly present at Comiket 88 (only to be promptly sold out in a mere hour), has once again become available for purchase, its preposterous length combined with the anime’s immense popularity proving to be the item’s main selling points.
The birthday arrival of K-ON’s beloved nekomimi guitarist Azunyan has still been met with an abundance of celebratory cheer even long after the anime’s end, with delicious cake and adorable illustrations being offered to the legendary girl, whether in hopes of the now ancient series seeing some sort of continuation or merely out of enduring B-type obsession…

Niigata-based design firm Muku have catered to the grotesque desires of otaku with a new product called the “Beautiful Girl T Bag“, a tea brew meant to emulate the “juices” of an anime girl – though which girl in question is still something they are looking to recruit partners for, and how the taste will differ from girl to girl is anyone’s guess.
The otaku holy land of Akihabara has wished the lovely Eli Ayase of cute idol anime Love Live! a joyous birthday, although this probably has more to do with her immense marketing possibilities than actual joy at her anniversary.
