A scene in which the imouto heroine of “Ore no Imouto” is revealed to be the owner of a substantial collection of eroge (most of which were real titles) has stirred up a storm of criticism, with commentators accusing the show of giving eroge opponents an excuse to push for a ban, and with industry insiders supposedly angry that the show never told them how it would be depicting their products.

Popular imouto anime Ore no Imouto ga Konna-ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai‘s little sister protagonist Kirino Kousaka has received the first of what are sure to be a great many figure renditions, in this case by Kotobukiya and due January 2011.

Ore no Imouto wa Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (“There’s no way my little sister can be this cute!”), based on a popular light novel of the same name, has begun airing, and is already being hailed as the top anime of the season.
Particular praise centres on the quality of animation and character design and the casting of the seiyuu.
