Sunrise’s anime adaptation of Gundam Unicorn (Gundam UC) has been confirmed in an official announcement, and the studio also reveals that the series will receive a worldwide simultaneous release in several languages (Japanese and English obviously featuring heavily).

With the news that the additions planned for the long-awaited PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia appear to have been present from the start, Bandai have been accused of betraying Xbox owners with the “exclusive” nature of the game’s Xbox release.
They recently issued an explicit denial that there were any traces of the new features in the original game, especially the new character. Fans are less than convinced…

The latest model adaptation of Go Nagai’s iconic mecha hero, Mazinger Z will be sold to lucky collectors for a measly ¥2 million, Bandai has announced.
Dubbed “Urban Material Chogokin Mazinger Z”, it will be made out of titanium and carbon, rather than using the usual die-cast construction.

Bandai has declared its intent to create a freestanding, full scale Gundam for the Gundam 30th anniversary celebrations. The giant robot will stand 18m tall, and is set to be publically exhibited in July.
The Gundam in question is the RX-78-2 Gundam, the iconic mecha from the first series.

Bandai has begun free distribution of Pizza Hut anime Code Geass, with Gundam 00 set to follow, via YouTube, in both subbed and dubbed versions, but unfortunately it has escaped their attention that there are anime fans and potential viewers outside the US, for the time being at least.

Happy news for Tales fans arrives in the form of confirmation that Xbox 360 “exclusive” Tales of Vesperia, the latest of Namco’s home console “mothership” titles, is to be adapted into a theatrical anime, to be released in 2009.
Other details are scarce, but given the quality of recent Tales anime we might be well served by this.
