All very Akiba so far.
More details than last, in fact interesting sample reviews, of the new mizugi Ena and Fuuka figures, of Yotsuba&!, emerge; and what fine specimens they are. In particular, the simple character illustration of Yotsuba-to seems to lend itself quite well to these similarly simple (and consequently inexpensive) figures. Still waiting for Miura deboxed…
The school swimwear peculiar to Japan, called スクール水着 / school mizugi, or abbreviated as スク水 / sukumizu, exerts a powerful influence over many Japanese men it would appear; perhaps this is a consequence of the nation’s boys being collectively exposed to the blossoming womanhood of Japan uniformly dressed in these at times surprisingly flattering uniform garments.
Finally Ena Ayase, of Yotsuba&!, gets proper figure treatment in the form of this fine looking figure, overshadowing mizugi Fuuka announced not so long ago, although the pair are intended as a set; Ena is also capable of casting off her everyday clothes, becoming the frighteningly appealing striped swimming suit Ena you see below, in which case Julietta can be replaced by a towel.
A class of third year elementary school girls had an unwelcome surprise when they returned from their swimming in the school pool, only to discover a thief had made off with their pants, with all 14 pairs unaccounted for, along with socks, shirts and other items of apparel. The changing rooms had apparently been left unlocked, and the door unattended. We do not hear whether the girls went nopan for the rest of the day.

モエマックス / Moe X magazine is earnestly soliciting customers for this white school mizugi, at the rather steep price point of ¥6,800-¥9,800 – I seem to remember seeing similar offered for ¥399, though not in white, and not including any famous illustrator’s (うるし原智志 / Satoshi Urushihara) work for the sake of pretext.
They are offering them in both adult and elementary school sizes, in case you happen to be one of Moe X’s many elementary school girl readers. Comes complete with unusably good cake emblazoned towel.

The second of the summer girls galleries, with more images of young ladies sweltering in the summer heat.
A gallery of fine summer themed images, with the general emphasis on 2D girls in the heat of summer; considering we are in the midst of tsuyu my timing is perhaps less than optimal, but I’m sure this can be forgiven. Many of the images in these galleries should be able to serve admirably as wallpapers. There are also similar images in several previous galleries, though I have done my best to expunge this series of any duplicates.
Yotsuba-to fans such as myself, as well as practically anyone who enjoys swimwear sporting figures, may be interested to see this upcoming Fuka figure, looking to be very authentically realised, and highly tasteful. Release is due at the start of September.
