
Martial arts superstar Jackie Chan has outraged lovers of freedom the world over, but especially in Taiwan and Hong Kong, with his galling statement that Taiwan and Hong Kong are “too free” and would benefit from some communist oppression, courtesy of Beijing.
In remarks to the press he asserted that “Taiwan and Hong Kong are too free, they are chaotic. Chinese have to be controlled.”

The survey can be taken as demonstrating that the authoritative nature of the traditional mass media (in Japan at least) is being gradually eroded.

A lolicon who successfully persuaded an eleven-year-old girl to send him naked pictures of herself faces charges; unusually, he utilised a PlayStation 3 to perpetrate the crime.
The man (24) faces three felony charges, including online solicitation of a minor and promotion of child pornography. One of the charges carries a possible 99-year prison sentence.

After 24 long years, Hanshin Tigers fans can finally heave a sigh of relief with the news that a long lost statue of Colonel Sanders has been reassembled, after it was recovered from Osaka’s Dotonbori River.
The statue has long being linked with a curse that plagued the team since it was first lost to the unwholesome depths of the Dotonburi, and fans around Japan hope it might finally mark a return to form for the team.
