Seiyuu otaku have been celebrating those seiyuu who are good with their hands as well as their mouths – and it looks as if a number of them may well be artistically talented enough to pursue careers as illustrators or mangaka in addition to voice work, as is plainly evident when their work is showcased:
Seiyuu often cosplay their own characters, and their fans have been busily collecting examples of them doing just this – often with rather impressive results, as can be seen below.
Seiyuu Marina Inoue’s recent sexy cowgirl cosplay outing has been attracting a great deal of attention – not least thanks to the revealing nature of the outfit and sexy posing she so gamely undertakes.
Top seiyuu Marina Inoue, known for such roles as Yoko and Alicia, has reported that she was chased by a “strange person” and almost broke down into tears as a result.
Singer-seiyuu Marina Inoue (Gurren Lagann’s Yoko, Maria Holic’s Matsurika) has already had her impressive art skills displayed here before, and she seems to have developed quite a taste for drawing as new art of hers continues to come online.
Inoue seems to be coming closer to fellow otaku idol Shoko-tan’s level of artistic accomplishment, although not nearly as disturbing as Shoko-tan’s own guro artwork…

Gurren Lagann’s Yoko (and by extension her seiyuu Marina Inoue) have attracted much attention with the launch of Yoko’s career as an idol, starting with the release of her “S.t.a.r.S” single, “Kirameki Yoko – Pieces of Sweet Stars“.

Popular idol-seiyuu Inoue Marina, famous for numerous roles, such as Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann and Alicia from Senjou no Valkryia, seems also to have another side to her.
She can draw.
She may be reminiscent of another artistically inclined idol, but her illustrations are far more classy; it may also come as a relief to some to learn that she does not inlude guro art in her portfolio.
