A flurry of videos commemorating the conclusion of Code Geass R2 have appeared on Nico, and amongst their number I couldn’t help but notice a Minagiru MAD, feeaturing Lelouch and company in the usual strange dance, a fitting complement to the recent Touhou version, and of course the original Tsukasa version…
Some excellent work on the visual side of things is evident in this freshly remade and already highly popular MAD, based on the character song for Lucky Star’s Tsukasa, but starring troubled idol Yukiho.
The highly popular and undeniably charming “Minagiru” series, famous for Tsukasa Syndrom, gets its latest incarnation using rather nicely illustrated Touhou characters.
This great Hatsune Miku MAD, a visual remix of the excellent, but visually deficient, “Epidemic Girl” tune, combines some superb music with extremely stylish visuals.

The latest MAD meme to become popular on Nico is the “Night of Nights” style of remixed anime, which started to become popular with the Yu-Gi-Oh! “Night of Command” and “Speed Command” videos, and had its fullest expression with the excellent Code Geass Nipponpon series; here we have it done using Lucky Star’s TN TN lover Tsukasa Hiiragi:

Another blockbuster cat MAD emerges on Nico, which is inevitably compared to the great Neko x Gong, though it seems the creator of this work has tried to accomplish something original; the results seem favourable. Watch it below.
The Idol Master girls replace the cast of Persona 4 in this recreation of the signature tune “Pursuing My True Self”, certainly a MAD of impressive quality.
The music is great as usual with Shin Megami Tensei, and they are rendered rather convincingly into the distinctive style of the Persona series, complete with retro glasses, along with all the interface touches the series uses to great effect.

Seeing the superb job done with reworking this Kagamine Rin/Ren classic, giving it a full visual workover, I couldn’t resist posting it. Definitely amongst my favourites, especially now with the interesting mix of rap, text and manga style visuals.
The music may be incongruous, but nobody could fault the evident skill with which this fine Idol Master MAD is put together, or for that matter the amusing yuri theme.
