The prequel novel to top-selling anime Bakemonogatari, titled Kizumonogatari, has received the long-sought confirmation for an animated adaptation.
Dengeki’s unrivalled reputation for employing and even awarding prizes to flagrant plagiarists continues to worsen, with yet another major incident – in this case actually involving a well known title, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (pictured with a pool cue above).
Major publisher Dengeki have apologised and withdrawn all copies of a light novel which 2ch discovered plagiarised “Baka to Test” in the most egregious manner imaginable, reproducing entire passages with minor changes in wording and even copying the author’s postscript address to readers.
Once again the huge variation in character design between the various media and characters of the “To Aru” franchise is the subject of analysis by fans – from left to right they are the original Index light novels, the Index manga, the Railgun manga, the Index anime and the Railgun anime.
