Chaos healing with Konata. Strangely soothing, yet surreal all the same, in the best tradition of such MADs.

The latest chaos MAD to emerge from the collective remix engine that is NicoNico Douga is “Konata Zone”, unsurprisingly incorporating Konata of Lucky Star in large amounts, along with Kagami and Tsukasa.
Tsukasa’s recorder solo is rather incredible…
This rather large, and also rather appealing, figure version of Lucky Star‘s erstwhile otaku protagonist Izumi Konata is due to go on sale in June, but has already attracted some attention due not only its size, but also its reclothability (or perhaps declothability)…
This especially skillful reimagining of Lucky Star‘s Konata and Kagami in so-called リアル / “real” style is interesting to look at, as it manages to inject some elements of reality into the art while still keeping at least some of the 2D idols’ anime-style beauty intact.
The “Te-te-te” meme combines with a curiously recoloured Konata in this chaos remix MAD, which is proving most popular on Nico with 50,000 views in half a day or so.
See what you think:
The tenth episode of troubled crazy shrine maiden anime Kannagi has received yet another KyoAni cameo, and yet another involving Lucky Star, this time perhaps even more blatant than the last.
As you can see, a group of girls bearing a striking resemblance to the girls of Lucky Star are present and engaged in a spot of karaoke… Much as they do in the Lucky Star endings, in fact.
How is this even remotely blatant? You can't even see their faces, therefore cannot confirm their identities to an absolute quantum certainty.... More
That is something only the director knows probably.. I'd like to see that myself ^_^... More
To conclude what seems to be a monumental stream of episode eight related 2ch observations, covering everything from Nagi-sama’s oppai to Nagi-sama’s fundoshi, we also hear that eagle-eyed observers (including some of yourselves) have observed several rather intriguing Lucky Star references in the episode:
A Lucky Star maniac on 2ch shares with us the results of his frenzied buying spree, where he spent over ¥100,000 on goods in one session (most of it in Sofamp it appears). He bought all the DVDs, the character songs, Figma and Nendoroid figures, etc.
The hugely anticipated Lucky Star OVA has been released, and you can learn everything you could ever want to know about it below. Possibly more.
The latest in development in the saga of Lucky Star Shinto took the form of a Lucky Star mikoshi, a portatble shrine hefted by matsuri (festival) goers in a devotional relay at the famous Washinomiya Shrine, lately known mainly as the shrine featured in the title, and the object of considerable attention from fans because of this.
You may recall the impressive Tsunde Rhyme MAD starring Kagami; now we have a production of similar quality, but with Konata.
Mega-seiyuu Aya Hirano crows victory in her latest interview, telling us she shed tears of joy when she learnt of the great success of her debut album, Riot Girl, with it securing sixth place in the Oricon charts; she pledges also not to betray the expectations of fans in her “Riot Tour”.
