Supernatural power anime Charlotte has drastically elevated in intensity with the appearance of another “gifted” character, bringing about plenty more emotional drama and light-hearted comedy that fans of Key will find familiar, although perhaps the same cannot be said for its addition of compelling action scenes.
Charlotte has delved deeper into its realm of mystical superpowers as the show’s cast of investigators seek out renegade youths abusing said abilities, garnering a mostly positive reception for its blend of action, heartfelt drama and adorable moe (of course).
