This charming bloomer cosplay image of Kagami Hiiragi, of Lucky Star, who I could swear is cosplaying Kyou Fujibayashi of Clannad, has attracted some attention recently, and not just because of its moe qualities – it has recently been flattered by plagiarism, though of a very petty kind.
This is college level in Japan? What the hell... I drew/water colored like that when I was in the 2nd grade. I mean, I've seen some bad drawings in my art classes but this is pretty... More
I don't get it, Japan has some brilliant artists, all my faveourites are pretty much asian. But no... Their classical and technical art colleges are shit. I mean, wtf?... More
The Night of Nights MAD genre seems intent on working its way through the entire Lucky Star cast; here we see Kagami featuring, along with her friends.
The hugely anticipated Lucky Star OVA has been released, and you can learn everything you could ever want to know about it below. Possibly more.
Hatsune Kagami makes another appearance, in an older and extremely hard to find image (if you come accross the original, please do share it), but one which is rather appealing. There are some other incarnations below, but for more we will likely have to wait until the OVA features her (probably only for scant minutes at best).
The latest in development in the saga of Lucky Star Shinto took the form of a Lucky Star mikoshi, a portatble shrine hefted by matsuri (festival) goers in a devotional relay at the famous Washinomiya Shrine, lately known mainly as the shrine featured in the title, and the object of considerable attention from fans because of this.
Kagamin collides with Hakurei Reimu. Only thing lacking is one of Reimu’s trademark waki exposure moe special attacks. Or perhaps a Konatei foil?
For those with a pressing urge to rub themselves down with a three dimensional likeness of Kagami of Lucky Star’s charmingly modest endowment, your prayers have been answered, by no less than Amiami, with this limited edition 3D (or rather less euphemistically, breast shaped) bath sponge, released to coincide with the upcoming OVA.
If you’re bored even of flat-chested mouse mats, or buttock mouse mats, this could be just the thing… Out at the end of September, for ¥6,000; limited to only three per customer, in case you were thinking of buying more.
Originating image is below.

I thought Japanese things were expensive....but... wow, ...that's a 60 DOLLAR SPONGE. It better be painted in its final version. And come with a vagina.... More
Another one of the nearly OP quality A-rank MADs does the rounds; this one focuses on enhancing the idol qualities of Lucky Star’s Kagami even further. It seems to incorporate just about every illustration of Kagami yet made, and is the better for it…
the nico link is still accessible for me right now so no problem here...what i regret was that the Clannad Rhyme got deleted from nico and i didn't manage to saved it..~_~..... More
Funny how they never get any of these deleted off of YouTube. I might have to start mirroring the ones most likely to get deleted...... More
As we saw earlier with the prominent featuring of Kagamiku, cosplay is looking to be central to the Lucky Star OVA. Now the official site reveals these development sketches, illustrating a likely focus on netgaming as well.
These rather enticing yuri images of Konata on Kagami (also Kagami on Tsukasa) actually grace some telephone cards on offer at Gamers, but since you probably cannot buy and do not want them, through the marvels of being told where to get them by a generous commenter, I reproduce them here. Enjoy.
If this cover art for the upcoming and highly anticipated Lucky Star OVA is anything to go by, then something resembling the earlier Hatsune Konata madness may be set to feature in the OVA itself, officially.
And of course, there is also the matter of Nagato Konata visible there…
Wow, considering how well Kyoto Anime is aware of the subculture it creates, in this case it's ripping off its own fanbase. Can you even copy violate a semi-organized, loose group of Otaku(s)? ... More
errr, kyoani made both haruhi and lucky star, so i think they have the rights to show them in anime.... More
