Followers of art and followers of Mio Akiyama may be interested to see this video, showing as it does how the above illustration came to fruition, with especial emphasis on Mio’s most important (some would say only) assets:

Artist Aoi Nishimata, renowned as the artist behind Shuffle and a variety of adult games and visual novels, has been at the centre of a storm of controversy as it became known that she was selected as a “representative” artist for Japan, to contribute an illustration to a Lucas endorsed commemorative art book. Non-fans fulminate that the opportunity should have gone to someone else…
For her part, she describes how excited she was to have no less than George Lucas himself look over her contribution, and apparently like it.

You may recall the earlier post on the making of this image of vocaloid Meiko, by master oppai illustrator Ino, but sadly at that time no high quality version of the image itself was to be found.
Now that one has surfaced, visible above, I’m sure you’ll be delighted to revisit the post, or rather, rewatch it below:

Here we have some examples of truly awful erotic art, chiefly the CG for various dire eroge. Some require quite searching observation to uncover just what it is which is so disquieting about them, whilst others are absolutely blatant, so much so that we must wonder at those who allowed them to be published…
I’m sure you’ll excuse the inclusion of a few (un)worthy ero-manga and the like too:
