Featuring some of the best cosplay outside of the Cosplay Elite Gallery, the elect cosplayers of this gallery have certainly put together some impressive performances.

This great Hatsune Miku MAD, a visual remix of the excellent, but visually deficient, “Epidemic Girl” tune, combines some superb music with extremely stylish visuals.

Hatsune Kagami makes another appearance, in an older and extremely hard to find image (if you come accross the original, please do share it), but one which is rather appealing. There are some other incarnations below, but for more we will likely have to wait until the OVA features her (probably only for scant minutes at best).

Some very pleasing Hatsune Miku wallpaper oriented images are collected into this gallery, though most are splendid high resolution images in their own right. Please read it on the Channel where I have translated it (mouseover the speech bubbles to get the English, move through the pages with the ‘next’ link at the top). I’m sure this is how a lot of poor Miku’s time is spent.
If you like it, I will post more of the same volume by different artists later.

Hatsune Miku juggles an interesting variety of objects in a most skilful manner in this fine MAD, starting with leeks. It is strangely charming, and has some nice touches.

Nearly five months in the making and released to coincide with Hatsune Miku’s birthday, this MAD is certainly a fitting tribute, being excellent in every respect. In fact, since its midnight release it has accrued some 25,000 playbacks, with 5,000 people favouriting it.

Hatsune Miku turns 16+1 today (it seems clear that virtual idols do not age), having been released a year ago to the day, on the 31st of August 2007.

Ideal versus actuality (below). There seem to have been some dire Hatsune Miku cosplayers at times, but the verdict on this one seems positive… Still, perhaps some idols are better kept virtual?
