Famitsu has published plenty of screens for the upcoming Haruhi Wii dance game, but the article is almost completely devoid of new information regarding the game, save a few details on how the dance system works (it’s a standard timing based system); the screens basically give all the information you need, however. It does now seem certain that only Haruhi, Nagato and Mikuru will feature in any prominence.

Some diligent soul has put together a most comprehensive comparison of the differences between Lucky Star’s Tsukasa, as drawn by each animator of the series, as well as Haruhi’s characters.
Since anime is generally produced in parallel by multiple teams of animators, there are generally slight differences between each team’s output, which may be very noticeable if supervision is lax or the animation is rubbish – I am not afraid to admit that I cannot tell them apart at all; their animation supervision seems top notch, or perhaps I am not looking hard enough.
However, a look at the Haruhi animator comparison on the same site does reveal some differences, however minor.
As a tribute to this dedication, I reproduce the images below, should you wish to try to spot the differences. You may also simply want to gawk at Tsukasa and Nagato. This coming from 2ch, by way of Syu’s Quiz Blog.

It is confirmed – the latest Haruhi game for the Wii will be a dancing game, involving timing Haruhi and company’s dancing with the Wiimote. Some details from the scans here and here: there will be a story mode advanced by skilful dancing, a free mode in which you can freely choose costumes, music and stage, and the dancing will be accomplished with three characters, so Kyon is unlikely to feature with Haruhi, Nagato and Mikuru on hand. Apparently, there will also be a version packaged with a figure.
I’m not sure what to make of this – the Haruhi dancing is charming, and undeniably popular if we are to find a rational explanation for the sales of figma Kyon, but whether this can sustain an entire game is another question. However, compared to the usual spin-off adventure games, this may be a fresh approach. Source here.

Only in Korea. It seems two fans took the burning question of which character is best, Haruhi or Eva’s Asuka, so seriously they were forced to move it from an online venue to an offline one, and naturally the ensuing fracas was recorded for your viewing pleasure. Their online argument lasted 5 hours, no word on how quickly the brawl finished. Nobody seems to know who won either. Via Itai News, original Korean article here. View the tawdry spectacle here and here. The article explains it is an outbreak of “現P” (abbreviation of “現実PK” – “Real PK” – MMORPG buffs will know all about Player Killing), something which seems to be a phenomenon limited to Korea and China.

The newly released, and admittedly captivating, swimsuit Nagato by Alter is causing a storm of appreciation already, particularly for the perfectly executed crease. It seems set to dethrone the prized nekomimi Nagato in short order. More detail is to be had here. “The crease under her left breast is fiendish”, indeed. I certainly also can’t help but agree with the comment that the choice of sports swimwear represents a welcome deviation from the typical bikinis and school mizugi.

Spotted this alluring jigsaw in Yodobashi Camera; great art, but a little degraded by the jigsaw pattern.
