A Nendoroid rendition of Touhou Project miko heroine Hakurei Reimu will be released at Comiket 76 in August 2009.
This limited-edition Nendoroid Puchi (Nendoroid Mini) version of Nagato Yuki from the Haruhi-chan series is a furoku (freebie) packaged along with the new volume of the manga.
As it comes with a manga and not an expensive limited edition version of a game, this is one of the few limited edition Good Smile figures to come out that is actually accessible to international buyers.

The blog of a well-known Good Smile Company employee has been updated with a surprise announcement of a new Hatsune Miku figure, based on a massively popular Nico video (shown below), very much like the excellent Black★Rock Shooter.
No information other than this lone picture is given, but it is enough to give Miku fans yet another reason to celebrate.
The Black Rock Shooter figure, darling of the WonHobi 9 event and recipient of more feverish attention online than any other figure so far this year, has just been revealed on Good Smile Company’s website to go along with the opening of pre-orders, although International customers will still need to wait some more time before it is available to them…
The BRS figure is based on illustrations of a warped, dark Hatsune Miku by artist huke for a tremendously popular Nico video, which can be seen below:

Good Smile Company recently held a follow up mini-event to their large Wonder Hobby 9 (WonHobi 9) figure event, appropriately called WonHobi 9.5. As the first event revealed all the newest announcements there wasn’t much in the way of new releases to ogle, but there are still a good number of new photos of upcoming releases to admire.

This week’s WonHobi 9 included an impressive assortment of bishoujo figures, in addition to the huge amount of Figma and Nendoroid figures that were so numerous that they warranted their own separate write-up.
