On-rails romance shooter Gal Gun: Double Peace has received its first tantalizing DLC pack, covering some basic service staples as it dresses up the game’s enemies in maid costumes, yukata and even kigurumi – though the title still has a long way to go if it ever wants to be a match for the costume DLC king that is Dead or Alive.

The arrival of Gal Gun Double Peace has garnered quite a bit of praise online due to the return of its aggressively romantic shooting action, giving players plenty more luscious schoolgirls to lustily gun down whilst elevating service levels to a higher degree than ever, all of which seems sure to have social justice warriors champing at the bit should the title ever find its way out of Japan.

The opening cinematic for girl blasting on-rails shooter “Gal Gun: Double Peace” has quite typically introduced its cast of pretty schoolgirls, drawing some fairly nonplussed reactions from viewers with its generic visual novel aesthetics – ironic considering the concept of shooting love-struck girls with pheromones is far from cliche.
