The long running and hugely successful manga Fullmetal Alchemist has been confirmed as ending in the upcoming July issue of Shonen Gangan, prompting fans to wonder what future awaits both Gangan and the latest manga in its absence.

To Love-Ru‘s final OVA has been released together with 18th volume of the manga, and much as it began the series ends with massive amounts of service, much to the delight of fans.

The last episode of K-ON! has aired, but crestfallen otaku have been given a fortunate reprieve – the “Next Episode” segment promises a bonus extra episode next week, something sure to come as good news to those many dreadfully bereaved by the ending of the series.

Hiroomi Iketani, one of the three producers for Gundam 00, responded to a recent interview question on the survival of the main characters after the last episode with the enigmatic suggestion that something significant and unexpected will occur in the “very last seconds” of the episode, scheduled for March 22.
The relevant segment of the interview is shown below, along with a translation:
Tsundere light novel series Toradora! is confirmed as concluding in the tenth volume, to be released March; this is thought to coincide neatly with the ending of the anime, for an ending many are already praising for its discipline in refraining from becoming a long and drawn out franchise more interested in merchandising than in coherent narrative.
Of course whether the ending will be any good or not is another matter…
