High quality anime “Angel Beats” heroine Haruppe has been spotted moonlighting as an employee at a Shinjuku Tower Records store.
The new OP and ED for K-ON!!, which were covered in some detail earlier, have gone up online to the delight of many otaku, giving those who have yet to watch the new show a chance to sample what may be KyoAni’s best TV animation to date (although fans are divided about the music).

The titles and productions credits for the second K-ON!! season’s OP and EDs have been announced, happily revealing that the same teams that produced the original season’s massively successful singles will be reunited for the new songs.

This MAD is the finalized version of the Toradora / Haruhi OP parody video seen here some time ago.
The original was already a work of some accomplishment even in its unfinished state, so the complete version is even more of a joy to behold.
Animation Kobe, an event created by the Kobe city for the promotion of animation (moderately Engrish introduction site here) has identified the winners of its 14th Annual Animation Kobe awards on its website.
Among the award winners are such anime as Eden of the East, Haruhi-chan and K-ON!, winning the TV, Network and Theme Song categories respectively.
This popular Nico MAD combines Haruhi’s ED “Tomare!” with Toradora!’s cast of love-pentagon characters inserted for a surprisingly well executed (partly) hand-drawn video, despite the MAD still being unfinished.
This beautifully edited remake MAD of K-ON!‘s Don’t say “lazy” ED theme is currently sitting high on the Nico Anime Rankings at a well deserved #6 place.
The video’s style, somewhat reminiscent of the sort of kinetic typography seen before on this Haruhi PV MAD, might be hard to put into words, so it is worth a look.
