Touhou creator and doujin soft superstar ZUN, of circle Shanghai Alice, has deigned to grant an interview to net culture show ザ☆ネットスター！ / The Net Star, his first TV interview ever, and you can see it below.
A novel, and rather entertaining and well executed doujin eroge which may be of interest has just had its demo version released; 田舎でシよう！２ 博多編 / Inaka de Shiyou! 2 Hakata-ben Version (Let’s do it in the country!) is based on the novel (if we ignore the fact that it is a sequel) premise of “hougen moe”, that is to say “dialect moe”.
In this case the dialect spoken by the young ladies (actually the protagonist’s little sisters…) is Hakata-ben, a folksy (to Tokyo Japanese at least) variant spoken in part of Fukuoka (Kyushu). The game is fully voiced, and the subtitles are in standard Japanese, so it is rather interesting to listen to, and easily understood from the subtitles (even native Japanese have much difficulty with these kind of dialects).

Recent findings indicate that at current rates of growth, Touhou related doujin circles could within several years cause Comiket to be rebranded Touhouket, and force the event to move to an even larger venue than the Big Sight; that is, if Reitaisai doesn’t overshadow or absorb the event entirely.

Fans of the inscrutably complex web of adaptations of the 07th Expansion visual novels (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) will be interested to hear that the TV anime adaptation of うみねこのなく頃に / Umineko no Naku Koro ni, a murder mystery doujin visual novel along similar lines to their other titles, has been formally announced. Production activity is set to begin this summer, though release is still some way off.

An unusual 3D rendered CG adult doujin soft title (actually it’s a movie packaged as an exe for some tiresome reason) comes to my attention: 雫～SHIZUKU～ offers a standard selection of AV scenes with the novelty of being realistically rendered in 3D computer generated graphics.
Probably one of the very best CG artists around, 村上水軍の館 / Murakami Suigun has been providing superb digital illustrations for many years now, and has accrued much fame and fortune as a result. Since many others have examined his eminently wallpaper suitable illustrations in detail, I shall focus on his more warped erotic and fetishistic illustrations, not a displeasing prospect in the slightest I must admit.
This is a bash the blocks style game where the objective is to knock poor Hatsune Miku’s clothes off, using a leak to bat the ball, naturally enough. It even has a Miku soundtrack, though perhaps more effort could have been invested in the CG.

Hatsune Miku seems to be the target of increasing gaming attention lately… Not long before we see her get a full commercial game to herself, perhaps?
