Wonder Festival Cancelled

Tokyo Big Sight Eva Girls

Event goers will be unhappy to note that the next Wonder Festival, one of the top anime hobby events, has had its next opening cancelled completely. This means there will be no Wonder Festival 2009 Winter at all, though it is thought that future events will go ahead normally.

Broadcaster Suddenly Cancels Kannagi

A broadcaster, the unfortunately named BS11, has cancelled its broadcasts of spirit anime かんなぎ / Kannagi without notice, with the reason being left obscure.

Kannagi fans need not worry (unless they happen to be using BS, in which case many are decidedly upset), as no other stations seem to be having difficulties.

Popular, or apparently not so popular, ero-tentacle manga To Love-Ru only recently concluded its negatively received anime adaptation, but now it looks as though the manga too will be concluding shortly, or rather, cancelled.

Appleseed Genesis TV Anime Cancelled?

アップルシード ジェネシス / Appleseed Genesis, the Appleseed TV anime, set to be cancelled?

It would appear work on the latest adaptation of one of the great Masamune Shirow’s works, set to be a TV anime entitled アップルシード ジェネシス / Appleseed Genesis, is in dire straits, with the prior target of a spring 2009 release seemingly up in smoke, and the prospect of complete project cancellation being apparent.
