Noted anime producer Madhouse has been reduced to the laughing stock of the industry after it emerged that the company is stuck producing an anime adaptation of an office comic for Chinese TV.
Some of the first screenshots of actual Catherine gameplay have revealed the game to be disturbingly erotic – the emphasis falling heavily on “disturbing.”
Much anticipated ero-action game Catherine has been dated – though somehow Atlus has managed to miss a minor marketing coup in the form of a Valentine’s Day release; instead the game will follow a few days later on the 17th of February, 2011 (rather stretching the definition of the “winter 2010” wording above).
Upcoming Persona-esque ero-action game Catherine has received more preview action showing off more of the lovely Catherine and her hapless protagonist Vincent.
Index, the company which just announced the dissolution of beloved RPG maker Atlus, recently unveiled the latest title in the Persona franchise – Persona 3 Social, a mobile phone game promising the latest in “social” gaming with the advanced graphical capabilities of a mobile phone handset, and with players nickelled and dimed for each item.
Atlus, the company behind the Persona and Megami Tensei series, is to be dissolved due to its ongoing financial problems.
Atlus’s first HD Persona foray is already living up to its promise of “mature themes” – the recently released preview video includes a glimpse of a full in game sex scene.
