We may have seen some disastrous efforts to render Idol Master characters in unusual mediums previously, but this time things look much more favourable. 如月千早 / Chihaya Kisaragi is given a wooden workover, and it looks to be an impressive work. The base used is actually said to be a cutting board…

The latest in development in the saga of Lucky Star Shinto took the form of a Lucky Star mikoshi, a portatble shrine hefted by matsuri (festival) goers in a devotional relay at the famous Washinomiya Shrine, lately known mainly as the shrine featured in the title, and the object of considerable attention from fans because of this.

Gurren Lagann merchandising seems to have two basic components, with the other one also being popular. Yoko still wins out by a mile, and this newly released “3D” mouse pad exhibits the reason admirably. Placing you wrist in the deep ravine caused by the two gel filled pouches is said to increase HP.
On sale now (¥4,000 limited run); see Mayoko-sensei, even larger, below… Nia flat version would be preferred.

Tsundere grand mistress Rie Kugimiya (Louise) provides the voicework to accompany these finely illustrated karuta, or playing cards, with the set being accompanied by a CD of her charming portrayal of that most improbable (or is it?) personality type.
On sale now for some ¥2,100; another set was on sale previously, so they must be proving popular. Hear her in action at Nico.

Would anyone expect anything less than this from ero-anime Kanokon? Another fine piece of ero-merchandising for the series in the form of this dakimakura, due October for some ¥10,000. All very tasteful I’m sure. The other image, below, is perhaps lacking something however…

You may have already heard of the Nagato-centric doujinshi event “Nagato-sai Daisuki”, now being held for the third time and boasting some 130 circles participating; this time, in concert with their usual Nagato showing, there will also be an event dedicated to that gender swapped toy of Haruhi, Kyonko.

The erotic credentials of new mixed media franchise 絶対衝激~プラトニックハート~ / Zettai Shougeki – Platonic Heart are shaping up, with this dakimakura cover giving you an idea as to where the series is heading; the “Platonic” part of the title is increasingly looking a misnomer…

A “life-size” limited edition ero-towel by Tony, featuring the image you almost see above (original image here in all its glory; it will make for an impressive towel indeed) is currently the talk amongst his fans, which seems to be everyone these days.
This is one of those cases where towel is something of a misnomer (though just what you can use it for aside from display is not clear to me, thankfully), since few would want to sully art of this calibre with their unclean flesh, to say nothing of the ¥6,300 price tag. Due September 7th, at Tora no Ana.

Kanokon continues its penchant for delivering extremes with this ravine like mouse mat, with a set of oppai reproduced in unusual detail, as you can plainly see. No word on if we will get the corresponding flat chested mouse pad or not… Due late October.
What next erotically charged material the show will deliver you will soon see, for information on the latest DVD is already at hand…

For those with a pressing urge to rub themselves down with a three dimensional likeness of Kagami of Lucky Star’s charmingly modest endowment, your prayers have been answered, by no less than Amiami, with this limited edition 3D (or rather less euphemistically, breast shaped) bath sponge, released to coincide with the upcoming OVA.
If you’re bored even of flat-chested mouse mats, or buttock mouse mats, this could be just the thing… Out at the end of September, for ¥6,000; limited to only three per customer, in case you were thinking of buying more.
Originating image is below.

These rather enticing yuri images of Konata on Kagami (also Kagami on Tsukasa) actually grace some telephone cards on offer at Gamers, but since you probably cannot buy and do not want them, through the marvels of being told where to get them by a generous commenter, I reproduce them here. Enjoy.
