In as much as the topic goes, hard to say. I am no fan of drawn rape any more than photographed rape. If the idea of rape gets your cock hard, you might have a problem. Thing is, it is KNOWN ie I am not interested in debating this, that most women have secret rape fantasies. But it is always a persons right to do what they want TO THEMSELVES as I see it.

    • Same here I ain’t a big fan of rape either I just hate stupid unnecessary bans Whose to tell me what I’m not allowed to enjoy in the private sanctuary that is my home

    • Rape has an important role to play in media because it’s a real issue. Those who say its just to get people horny for rape clearly are thinking about media in very selective terms. Stories are meant to inspire all kinds of emotions.

I won’t spoil the plot of Rose of Versailles, but when there are scenes close to rape in this, I really don’t think the majority of the viewers enjoy it. Conversely, it’s a pretty upsetting issue.

If people do make manga or anime that seem to glorify it, that should be their right, because if it appeals to some people, this illustrates different thinking patterns in humanity that pre-exist and which we should acknowledge and interact with to understand better. I don’t think sweeping it under the rug does anything.

    • I’d hope most people don’t find fact she’s being raped hot. I just enjoy her being fucked no matter the situation.

If she’s being raped it means she’s probably jiggling around more violently than if it were consensual – I’d guess that’s where rape makes a difference to viewers.

There’s a ton of murder in a lot of shows, they call it action. Now violence is violence sexual or not, so I propose we classify animated rape as action, the same way we can call animated murder ’action’.

In a cartoons they don’t need to worry about the affects of rape which is what a lot of people find offensive. The thing is they should expect to see the consequences: you’d never see the coyote’s family bury him and mourn the loss because he’s back in the next scene – the same rules apply to rape.

It is a cartoon, no real people are hurt and if someone gets off on the rape, they should seek help. Anyone who’s just enjoying the faster jiggling is perfectly healthy.

    • I don’t agree people necessarily need help if they get off to rape. A lot of my fantasies involve BEING raped by an aggressive female :) Conversely, while I’d probably have mixed feelings about it, I don’t necessarily hate a female who would want to fulfill the other side of that equation.

There are examples in some manga where something can have a mix of arousing properties and disturbing properties. The ”Tukasa and Tubasa” story in Life is Peachy is a good example. The aggressive yuri is sort of hot at first, but then gets kind of dark and sad by the end. Firecracker also had that same kind of mood swing in it.

      • You’re a sick person… kidding. There’s an asian fetish where girls want to be raped by their boyfriend. I don’t think you can call it rape though – it’s more like surprise sex.

I guess it could be surprise sex at a time when they may not necessarily want it, like while they’re waiting in line at a bank.
