Notebook? Like a laptop? Got me the Alienware M11x. 4 gigs of ram, dual core procceser , badass littel thing i got here……..yep.
I switched from a Fujitsu Siemens xi 1554 to a Acer Aspire 8730G. 18.4” Full HD, T9400 CPU, 4 gig RAM, Radeon HD 4650 with 1 gig VRAM. Cool thing. ^_^
VRAM? You mean the videocard ram? Mine’s just got a smaller screen(11 inches across)
Yup, video ram. 11”? That’s tiny! How can you work with that thing?
Notebooks are very small PCs even moreso than lap tops. LTs usually come with a built-in CD ROM and have bigger screens and memories and stuff. Notebooks are mainly for word processing.
Netbooks would be about halfway in between, I have an NB.
Seems we have different naming in Germany.
Notebook = laptop, two names for the same device.
Netbooks are tiny notebooks, usually about 10”, but I also saw 4”.
Netbooks normally have no CD/DVD/BR, but some smaller laptops lack them as well.
My notebook has BR, SATA RAID, card reader, 4xUSB, 18,4” FullHD display, HDMI and the usual stuff.
