The special moves and abilities look cool the first dozen times you see them but for a game that lasts probably dozens upon dozens of hours, they get stale quickly.

You mean more like Rena Lanford from STAR OCEAN: THE SECOND STORY; her hair was blue and there wasn’t really anything pink about the clothes she wore (her cape was more crimson than anything)?

I hope there’s a zoom-out mode for the battles, so it looks more like the other STAR OCEAN games.

Oh, sorry, “Jesco” is the bland name version of “Jusco”, not “Jasco”.

Enough Japanese manga readers remember NARUTARU/SHADOW STAR for it to have made the top 15? I’m actually impressed.

There should also be GAKKOU GURASHI-branded hardtack so that you can eat along with the rest of the School Living Club when they’re having one of their usual “meals” (standard survival kit rations).
