Ender’s Game. Not surprisingly the cut the entire Hedgemony sub plot and skipped a lot of the training. I would have liked to seen Ender’s relationships with Ali and Bean fleshed out more and while the game scenes were shortened, they were well done and worked out in the end. The space scenery was beautiful and the final battle was Gurren Lagann epic.

Try them and find out. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.
