Politics in Japan and the Earth: 4 years, 5 months agoI am a Japanese, and interested in analyzing a matter.
If there is a matter which you want to know about Japan, please do not hesitate to ask a question. I answer. However, I am poor at English. My text may be insufficient.-
Nice to meet you Clownback, it’s good to have someone with firsthand experience with Japan’s system. I understand that you may have difficulty with english, but I’ll my best to understand and won’t be too critical about it.
Well anyway, my first question is how is the situation in Japan? Like are people having trouble with employment? If…[Read more]

The problem of employment.
The downturn of economy of Japan continues , after the prosperity of the second half of the 80s. Furthermore, we are anxious about the influence of the big earthquake in northeast before half a year.
However, there are many job offers in Tokyo. It is the work of non-regular employment called “HAKEN”. HAKEN means…[Read more]-
Interesting commentary on Japan. Surprisingly, it’s not that different form most countries in some ways, but I would say Japan is a little more advanced when it comes to problems the west is about to face.
The business culture you speak of might be unique to Japan because of eastern tradition of conformity while the west is more about…[Read more]

That’s right. The problem of Japan which I pointed out is a problem common to the world. In the range of this problem, Japan can say that it is slight injury. In the time of globalism, the problem of a company and workers is caught not in the national range but in the range of the international economy.
In the East, the malfunction of a labor…[Read more]

Good to hear you’re talking about it with others, because it’s going to take quite a bit of people to fight our way through this mess and it’s only going to get messier…
What I believe causes problems for Japan, the US or any other country is the government. We all know how ineffective the government of Japan has been and I won’t say the US…[Read more]

Politics in Japan and the Earth: 4 years, 5 months agoWell, i haven`t followed that much in recent weeks, but everybody knows Euro as currency is now in it`s final phase of death struggle. I only hope that we won`t get too strict border & trade control among European countries, when they are back in own currencies. My country, Sweden is said to have strong own currency, but that remains to be seen…[Read more]

Politics in Japan and the Earth: 4 years, 6 months agoSo what would you say your political affiliations are, liberal, progressive, conservative, neoconservative etc.?
-
Not too sure what progressive and neo-conservative is, but between conservative and liberal, I’d say I lean more towards liberal.
-
In America, neoconservative is the modern day conservative. Neoconservatives are authoritarians, while classic conservatives are for preserving the Constitution and it’s restriction of power.
-
-
Liberal on some issues, conservative on others. I think government should stay out of peoples private lives and bedrooms and be restricted to maintaining a reasonably safe basic living environment (health care, housing, water, sewer,, etc.). Protect country against attack.
-
I can’t agree with healthcare and housing, Government has involvement with both of those things and all we got get is rising premiums and a housing bubble. Though the rest I am fine with.
-
I just feel there should be basic food, healthcare and housing if you need it. Some plan that you can avail yourself of if you have no health insurance or can’t afford the $400 a month premiums. Nobody should have to go hungry, sleep in their car or wait until they’re so sick they get sent to the emergency room of the hospital before they get…[Read more]

Well the culprit to all our problems is government, so expecting a fix from is impossible. You want a plan that provides entitlements to people in need, but the problem with that is that will suck the life of the economy.
This plan of yours requires a government bureacracy to implement, meaning we will need to expand the size of government,…[Read more]

Well it was mostly a trick question lol. Nowadays they all really mean same thing. What they have all in common, is that authoritarian approach that could lead to tyranny.
