I get so many dan because I am using dan for the word だん/
段 meaning grade/rank/ level. It is used for everything from kendo and other budo all the way to igo and shogi.

My Menjo( certification) from the All United States Kendo Federation came in! It is the one for my 2dan exam last year. Next year,in the fall, I am going for 3dan. I am pretty happy and excited to continue my kendo journey.

I realized that I had made may my waifu. So, I will stick with may.
