After Capcom announced the newest entry in their iconic fighting series, Street Fighter 6, critics were quick to take issue with the simplistic logo design, and someone went even further to accuse them of adapting a stock photo.
Ars Technica’s Aurich Lawson drew comparisons between Street Fighter 6’s logo, and an Adobe stock image titled “SF FS Letter logo design vector template” that costs $80 for an extended license:
Considering the overly simplistic design (something companies have been implementing for their own logos in the current era), it is possible the resemblance is pure coincidence.
This turn of events might not prove too surprising as Capcom was recently accused of stealing photos for use as textures in their Resident Evil games.
That’s what happens when you hire untalented woke SJWs from the West
This will be the smallest of this game’s issues by the time it comes out.
They just searched SF on google images, changed background to black and slapped a number and call it a day.
some unpaid intern gave them exactly the amount of effort that they paid for
Yeah. Garbage in, garbage out.
LMAO makes SF6 even more worrying
And it’s all for a 40 second teaser
I hate teasers now because i don’t want to be teased about the thing you’re making you can just tweet that. It’s like at E3 where they have “in development” trailers like stop wasting time telling people that you’re doing something and show a trailer that people would actually want to see.
