Well can respect the decision because I notice to when some of the shows are bit milked in cg and what not.
But I love Heisei and Showa, besides it’s Kamen Rider!

during 90’s, there is a big surge of tokusatsu series run in my country (due to popularity of Kamen Rider Black)… and i just happen to get chance to watch most of them in Tv or rent VHS from local store

yeah, but it was aired on local tv with dub version…
i did bought the dvd for black and rx (just to listen to actual voice of Tetsuo Kurata), for the rest, it would be great if i can find them somehow…

thx for the warm welcome, maaaa you can say i’m already retire from watching new Tokusatsu stuff, it just feel so high tech with all the CG, it lose the charm it used to have back in the 80’s… i do not mind if it got anything to do with shadow moon though =X

I’m cool with the old stuff too, tho I haven’t seen much of it. You like Black/ Black Rx and stuff like that. If you have any info on that stuff, share it. My motto is if it’s ”cool, it must be shared.”

Wow, that’s pretty old school. The only other people I know who have seen stuff like that are these people I met at a convention who did a panel. Did you watch them as they aired?

You’re lucky to be able to watch that stuff on TV. I live in US and we don’t get much stuff, only MMPR… The only way I found out about Tokusatsu was because someone decided adapt(butcher) KR Ryuki and a friend watching it told me about it and where to download them. Hey it’s always important to respect the roots much as you like the newer stuff.
Personally if I was little one in japan at the time of the Showa riders (despite WW2 and whatnot) I’d love watching that everyday.
