It reminded me of mediterranean cuisine. Probably cuz of the basil on bread like tabbouleh on pita. Since it had pesto, it didn’t really need meat to be tasty.

Baguette slices stuffed with pesto, tomatoes, cheese and other herbs and oils. Was good. Never had it before.
