Japanese Language: 4 years, 10 months agoDamn, smart.fm is closing down, it was pretty nice for hiragana and katakana memorizing and i would have used it for vocabulary.

Yeah, feels bad man. I found that site just a few days before they announced the closing and closed registration. I guess I was lucky since I could get some use out of it before it goes away. It was good for studying kanji, but there are plenty of other resources that I can use after it’s gone.

what about the new service that they are transferring into iKnow? it’s not like it will be closed or something…

Well for memorizing there is anki also, it’s free and just as good so the 1000 yen/month for iknow doesn’t sound so good, but sure if it turns out to be awesome i could pay for it, however some are saying smartfm was better coz iknow doesn’t allow user created goals.
