We all know child rape is bad. The idea may be fun, (well, obviously,) but in real life it hurts lots of people. I was wondering what you guys thought about the people who actually do stuff like this. Do you hate them?

I'd like an end to real child rape just as much as anybody else, but that doesn't mean that I hate the rapists. They may be too weak to subdue their urges, but is that really something so hard to understand? Most people have help to get through life without harming others, but pedophiles are hated by society and often have no one to help them be themselve without exploding and hurting someone.

If anything, I kind of feel like we're part of the same family. Sure, we may not always agree with eachother or support what one another are doing, but we still have something important in common, and I feel like I understand the rapists more than I understand the people who hate them.

Well, that's what I wanted to say. What do you guys think?

Hate child rapists, I think they should be castrated and raped by the other guys in prison 'til they feel like they don't wanna live no more and kill themselves. They are first on my hate list.

I never wanted them to go out to society again in the first place. Why would they? Why would we risk destroying peoples life? I know it sounds harsh but I really think they are the lowest kind of being.

Edit: Well at least it applies to most people when I say that... "DID IT ONCE CAN DO IT TWICE"

I'd like an end to real murder just as much as anybody else, but that doesn't mean that I hate the murderers. Umm, no. I don't hate murderers either. I'm not suddenly saying that rapists are good people, I'm just saying that I don't hate them, and I asked for other people's opinions.

Ah, well, don't use your imagination too much.

I just don't go around hating people unless they've really already done something to really hurt me. It seems like everyone these days goes out of their way to hate, even if it's not beneficial to them. Isn't that just silly? I don't understand why people would do that, and that's why I am asking you guys to tell me.

Anyways, so you don't have to ask again, no, I have not nor will I ever rape anybody.

EDIT: Well, I know people are trying to be protective beforehand, it just seems pretty extreme.

I prefer the extreme. If someone tried to rape me and I had the chance to, I'd kill them. They got no right to destroy someones life and someones sexuality. It even changes people - most often than not - for the worse.

How do you think you'd be now if you'd been raped as a child? And keep in mind that normally, you get raped by someone you know. So let's say, your neighbour who you trust so much suddenly wants to "play a game" with you and we all know how that game ends. How do you think you'd be some years after?

It's totally fucked up and sadly, it happens every fucking day. If I was a superhero, I'd go castrating and torturing all those motherfuckers. They brought that upon themselves.

Rape little children is a no go.but if I have sex with a 14 yo and i´m under 18 it´s legal and if I´m over 18 and have sex with them, even if she agrees to. I´m a child molester that the part I don´t understand..

...For some reason destroying people's lives for destroying people's lives doesn't sound very logical. Hell, it sound to me that what you would do is worse than the original offense.

Well, I can definately see from your point of view, but I think you should expand your view farther than 'An eye for an eye'.

Society just always has to have a victim, otherwise there is no villian. It's sad, since there are many people out there who are put under extreme hate even though they didn't hurt anybody. People these days are willing to hate even though they don't understand the situation, so a lot of innocent people are caught up in it.

It's the inability to subdue these urges that makes them into people you shouldn't be particularly fond of. That's why criminal law exists, anyway.

Well, this thread wasn't meant to convince anybody of anything. I probably should have been more careful about my phrasing if it seemed like I was saying that rape is ok.

Well I guess it would be odd to expect there to be no hate in a thread about hate.

There are a lot of rapists out there who put no thought into it, but I think there are also people who have a stressful mental breakdown of their own. Everybody's human, after all.
