Yeah I know. Puffy is on that day too. I'm seeing them.

I'm not sure if I want to go. Boom Boom Satellites are pretty cool, but I don't like Puffy AmiYumi, and I don't even know the others.

Vamps is Hyde from L'arc~en~ciel 's band. I don't know the last act.

As for PUFFY,I actually hoping they don't perform anything of their last album besides the songs Shiina Ringo wrote. PUFFY has a good catalog but they at times are give stupid writers. The last 3 yrs of PUFFY wasn't the best and I'm sure they even know that. This show's set might be most of Splurge, the honeycreeper singles and then the rest is stuff from Spike(2001) backwards.

  4. I think the description on the site is ok.

There line up seems very tight. I can hear every instrumental through the each song regret and self-doubt.

Sound is crisp to; good mastering of the set list. I really liked the first track as a interlude into the album.

  5. 2 East Coast indie bands

Young Adults a Shoegaze/Punk who's inspirations stem from Sonic Youth, Number Girl, Bloodthirsty Butchers, and Dinosaur Jr basically some of my favorite bands ever. So that peeked my interest and it turns out they're actually awesome.

My ears also ran into a tour mate of theirs, Girlfriendswho makes surf pop music reminiscent of Wavves or w/e the kids listen to these days. Pretty good stuff imo

  8. Also, 90% of electronic music can be considered indie, so I really just have to say my favorite artists.

    Like Alphazone, for starters.

I likeded it. It's 80s pop rock is a go here. As long as it doesn't try too hard. *cough*INAZAWA*cough*

    vvv

New Vola & The Oriental Machine single btw; bending the thread theme a little but I've been following them since before they got signed to universal(and adapted their electro portion of sound).

  18. Do you people actually keep track of which bands are technically indie? I can't keep up with that shit, I listen to too many bands. If I go on youtube and a band has less than 100,000 views on its most popular video, they're indie as far as I'm concerned.

Not sure what you're asking here. Do you think there's a set definition of "indie"?

Yes. But it means no major labels, I guess, as opposed to not being very popular.
