   Now that 2008 is over, what movie would you guys/girls say was the best that came out this year?

   Mine would be obviously Wall-e , lots of people would probably go WTF?! but this movie was just so ... perfect ..the plot was nice and everything else about it

   Wall-e 93/100
   The Dark Knight 92/100

   Slumdog Millionaire (this is NOT a Bollywood movie).

   The Dark Knight was quite win as well. It was also not just violence as naysayers will express. It was as someone elsewhere put, American mythology at its best. American manga don't get enough attention. :D

   Eh, Wall-E was okay I suppose. The Dark Knight was good as well. But they surely weren't the best in my opinion. My two favorites in 08 were Frost/Nixon and Man on Wire.

   Dark Knight was amazing... So was Iron Man. Both I watched twice. I have to say though i loved Tropic Thunder the most. Going to watch Gran Torino soon so i cant say much for that yet.

    Let The Right One In, a film based on a swedish vampire novel, I expected some Twilight clone, I got a deep, and sad, romance.

    Dark Knight would be second, the FUCKING Joker.

    Iron Man would be a third.

    I didn't really enjoy much else this year.

    Best film of '08 was a great German film called 'Das Wiel', which translates as 'The Wave'. Next was probably 'Choke' and I would also have to say 'Wall-E'. Dark Knight was awesome, but unfortunately doesn't make my top 3!
