A friend of mine used to do that with a coworker at his job. Then it, considering where he worked, it didn't surprise me the least bit.
As for me, I haven't really had much of an otaku moment other than discussing anime with friends and such.

Haha nice. I can't say i've ever had one like that, but i've used phrases and stuff with friends when talking about shows and whatnot.
There was a guy at my university last semester that filed a complaint with the school cause there was no Hideyoshi restroom among the men's and women's restrooms.

Kinda i've acquired several traits.
When i start to lose it or get stressed i tend to fold my fingers in ala inuyasha
When i start to lose control and in a very bad way i move my hand ala Ichigo going vaizard
When i'm going megalomaniacle inteelectually i tend to do the lelouch eye thing ya know when he removes the contacts
I also tend to do the glasses thing ven without em though i do wear sunglasses most of the time.
I'm pretty sure there's more but can't recall em right now.
Also when i'm doing the two in the middle it's best to back away in particular the ichigo one. It generally means i'm near a full reversion and if i do revert i will become very dangerous.

Thread NOT about your own weaboo mannerisms, but awesome random things that have happened IRL.
We were playing this drama game called "park bench" where two people (one sitting on an imaginary park bench) have to try and convince the other to leave by acting a logical scene. No violence.
So this Japanese dude (who isn't into anime at all) goes up and sits on the bench while another Korean kid (who's a total gamer geek) goes up to play. To our utter and complete astonishment, the Japanese kid immediately leans back with an arm over the back of the bench unzips his hoodie and .....
Yaranaika?
It was SOO surprising because (believe it or not) the Japanese people at our school aren't into anime at all. The guys are all baseball/soccer freaks and the girls are all obsessed with NEWS or Kat-tun or something like that. And out of the blue this guy just goes YARANAIKA? in the middle of a drama game. My friends and I roared with laughter as did the other Korean geeks. Nobody else (including the drama teacher) got the joke.

For future ref mikorio most of those i didn't acwuire on purpose i just picked em up. I do that.
Oh i just remembered something from when i was in highschool
So we had a kid well know as the perv of the shcol his name was chris if i recallo right. Now at lunch we would play games 2 days a week. So during one agme session someone mentioned the word boobs. And as luck would have it he was JUST opening the door. and he says "did someone just say boobs" Now bear in mind the timing was so perfect it was like one of the old cartoon where someone had hear say the name of their favorite food and coming running from half a planet away just because of that. Well we all had a major laugh at that.

Not something i did but something i witnessed. When i moved here in middle school my first friend was a mexican otaku. I though he was cool at first cause we we're both into DBZ and Tenchi and all that good stuff. But that mutha fucker got annoying quick. needless to say we went our separate ways once i found someone cooler to hang with. her name was mary jane.
so a month later all the guys in pre-athletics were being dicks as usual and they chose to pick on the mexican otaku that day. he fucking busts out with "KA.....ME....HA....ME...HAAAAAAA!!!" goes through the poses and everything.........fuckin silence, followed by the funniest lynching i have ever seen.

I yelled out "ANSWER ME, DOMON!" during a convention and someone yelled back, "THE SCHOOL OF THE UNDEFEATED OF THE EAST!"
It never went further than that, but it made me very happy regardless.

I dont actually laugh, or rather its rare.

One time at my Anatomy class the professor was doing random questions, and when he asked me "What is C2?" I almost said "The witch from Code Geass" hahaha, but I was able to stop myself and answer correctly.
It was the second cervical vertebra in case you are wondering XD
