I had a situation very similar to something you might see in an anime, but really it isn't anime specific.
It was summer and my friend had a bunch of people over to use his pool, and after everyone was done with swimming they all retired to his room. There were a good number of people including 3 or so girls and a number of our friends from school. Everyone was just talking and enjoying themselves, and in a lull in the conversation I decided to step out to take a quick bathroom break.
The bathroom was right down the hall, and so I could hear tidbits of conversation, but not well. I swore I heard my name mentioned though. Meanwhile, back in the room the conversation had turned a bit awkward. One of the newer girls we had met had somehow gotten on the topic of sex and in response to a question ended up blurting out "...because I just lost my virginity last week!". The room fell completely silent. That's right about the time that I burst into the room and said "What about me?".
Everyone burst out laughing. It was probably 5 minutes later before I got the full story. All completely unintentional. Couldn't have happened more perfectly if I had planned it.

Nice and very well described. In case anyone can't understand my earlier one it was basically this just at schol the word boobies replacing sex and I wasn't the one walking. The only big difference is that he then said "did someone say boobies". But very well put what i get for posting while sleep deprived.

Well i'm not overly overweight MAYBE 10-20 pounds so i don't even have half the gut of my dad think beer gut style fat and balding. Though like most things concerning me it's variable and most of that weight comes from being shall we say bubba proofed. Also to make your image even worse please remeber that i tend to avoid shirts and mainly wear shorts yet i'm EXTREMELY hairy.

Outside of appearance I tend to hide it unless I can think of something that would fit the conversation, like talking about Welcome to the NHK when discussing slacker 20 somethings.

I can't remember a story like that, but I have seem people acting like Anime characters.
Specially girls, they annoy the hell out of me. . .
Specially when they do that Smile while closing their eyes and moving their heads a little bit. . . it looks fake!! Like if they are trying to make people believe that they have that cheerful personality of a anime girl when its really obvious that they are just pretending to be something

It's A VERY outdated image pre balding and when i still weighed over 200lbs. It's from about 2-3 years ago. It was also linked from my old wow guild forum. Sadly no on in said guild knew how to use a forum so it was mainly me trying to get em to use it. Wound up more like a blog. I intend to posta more recent one after i shave my head again.

The only thing that once happened to me was that I was asked about which part of a woman I look at first. Without thinking too much, I replied with armpits. Cue reactions that ranged from wtf over laughing to flashed armpits.

Back in high school, I had to do a project/presentation on Japanese-Canadian business relations. I'd always had huge stage fright, so I wanted to do something to try to get over it once and for all. It was fairly new at the time, so I decided to do the Hare Hare Yukai in front of my class, as an opener for the presentation. It turned out really well. Thunderous applause. I ended up getting one of the highest presentation marks, and it helped me to get over my fears almost completely.

Not really otaku related, but I have a habit of expressing my rage in real life via verbalizing the "FFFFFUUUUUU" sound. I'm trying to cut back on it, because it makes it sound like I'm trying to choke something up.

I once woke up late on my first day of school so I ran to school with bread in my mouth. I bumped into an attractive and rich person who later turned out to be extremely popular class and seemed to enjoy harassing me. After a lot of drama coming from misunderstandings that could have been cleared up through talking we finally end up together.
On a more serious note, I've walked in on two girls changing. No screams or throwing of random objects though. Just ended with an "oops, my bad" and closing of the door.

oh if we can count things like this then I have one after all.
I showed up at this girl's house slightly earlier than we'd planned to meet but earlier she'd told me to just come in when I arrived so I did.
anyway I happened to see her come out of the shower wearing nothing but a towel, the best part was that she was at the top of the stairs and I was at the bottom, so I saw a little more than I think she realized....*now that I've thought about it, I'm sure there was a better thread to post this on....
