    I don't know.

    The story before the first decision point, he was still clinging onto his humanity. But if you decide not to accept Saya's choice to change you back, his descent to insanity begins.

    So, probably not at the beginning, but maybe later at the end? I didn't get any hints of it during the game.

    yeah and they didnt change his picture even in the shot with him holding the transformed axe

    Got some questions if no one minds answering; thanks in advance!
    Which VNs would be considered classics? Just like how in anime there is Cowboy Bebop or NGE (although it does depend on taste, but I'm asking which did have a reason to become noticed).
    I don't care whether or not there is too much or no hentai at all, although if the plot is excellent, I have no problem if there is no hentai, like Ever17 for example. I'd tend to believe I even prefer those kind of VNs, but I guess that's mainly because I'm used to them.
    Likewise, what VNs are known for having traps? (ex: Space Pirate Sara, see attachment #1)

    Anyways, I've loved my small share of VNs; I don't really know why I can be entertained just by clicking clicking clicking, I guess if the plot's good I just get hooked; if I spot a girl that I particularly like, that's an extra bonus.

    Up 'till now I've played:

    -Ever17 (my first VN, which wasn't such a good idea because I'll have the tendency to compare future VNs with this one eh; where good endings aren't so good at all... Tsu ;; I really enjoyed this one because I liked trying to figure out what was going on myself, taking into account small details and such. Plot was quite complete I have to say, impressed me because I did not imagine VNs could be this big)

    -Clannad (enjoyed it even more than the anime; the VN was funnier and I was far more captivated by the endings, besides Fuuko's and Ryou's)

    -Yume Miru Kusuri - A Drug That Makes You Dream (basically done, only missing senpai's ending. Nekoko-chan is insta-fave, for how she is and for her plot)

    -Kana～Imōto～ - Kana: Little Sister (Barely remember this one, although I do remember the snow for a certain event, I think I might have to replay this one around 2011, I know I quite fairly enjoyed it, and it was my 2nd VN, right after Ever17)

    Incomplete
    -Sharin no Kuni (I was quite enjoying this one, then I ended up having no time to continue and forgot to get back to it; I'll finish it after getting 100% on Yume Miru Kusuri)

    -Fate-Stay Night (barely played it, it's not at highest priority for now)

    -Yin Yang - X-Change Alternative (I got some endings but not all, god this VN was quite hilarious and also... oh right, I know why I didn't finish it, I didn't really want to go down the 'becoming a slut' direction I guess, think I only played it for the hermaphrodite/trap girl? Or was that another VN...? w/e)

    -Act 1 of Katawa Shoujo (oh god, lawl at the girls... besides that it wasn't anything grand)

    -Space Pirate Sara (not just lolis, but cute trap lolis?! a must in my book myes. Far from having it completed)

    I'm not sure. but there are quite a few that I think anyone with an interest in VN's MUST play.

    -Snow Sakura
    -Yume Miru Kusuri
    -FSN
    -Shuffle

    maybe Princess Waltz as well

    but if there's any "classic" VN, I guess it would have to be Bible Black

    I've been trying to get into VN's for a while, but the lack of furigana really gives me trouble and I'm not a fan of using the translations (unless it's a subtitle mod).
    Could anyone suggest a VN that has relatively simple Japanese?
    One that lets you replay the audio for the current page would be perfect. :)

    After a bit of fiddling around with different configurations I've finally found one I'm really happy with.
    I'm using agth with Translation Aggregator and it is working brilliantly.

    Specifically I'm using WWWJDICT and JParser since Jdict is great as a quick list and JParser seems to catch more of the words that are written only in kana.
