I'd be a much worse artist. I started learning anatomy because I wanted to be able to draw anime, and without it, I'd likely still be a dumb kid that thinks I don't need to learn realism if I'm making cartoons.

I don't really consider myself otaku, but if that would be the case then I would go to party, get wasted and sleep with all the drunken chicks I might find about. After that I would go to the doctor...

I might actually be a productive member of society who can support himself and mebe even have social and love lives
*although Otaku might be a bit strong of a word for whatever I am, I think mebe just "dorky" or "weird" would be better

I'd need to be otaku in the first place.
I once thought I was otaku until started seeing news items that made it clear I have never even been close to being otaku.
One needs to do a shit load more than watch a bunch of anime to be otaku.

My life wouldn't be much different, other than the fact that I would fill my free time with a little more video games, writing, and listening to music. Being an Otaku doesn't change who I am, it's simple a very strong interest in anime, manga, or things related to Japan. It's not like I define my life by an interest. :P

I very may well be. I like a lot of the more primal, rustic machinery and the 1800's with their frills everywhere. Very attractive.
