   An armless Chinese man has wowed TV audiences in his homeland with a flawless piano performance - using only his toes.

   Liu Wei appeared on China's Got Talent and stunned viewers with a faultless recital of the classic Mariage D'amour.

   The 23-year-old lost both arms when he was 10 after he touched a high-voltage wire during a game of hide-and-seek.

   He said it had been his "destiny" to perform on the show.

   "For people like me, there were only two options," he added.

   "One was to abandon all dreams, which would lead to a quick, hopeless death.

   "The other was to struggle without arms to love an outstanding life."

   When he was 18, Mr Liu decided he wanted to be a professional musician and taught himself how to play the piano in secret.

   He persevered and developed his own style after his teacher quit, saying it was impossible for anyone to play with their toes.

   He got a standing ovation on China's Got Talent after the emotional performance and advanced to the next round of the competition.

   That's exactly what i tell to people, that start playing an instrument.
   Having no talent is just an excuse for lazy people.
   There is no such thing as talent, if you have the willpower you can learn anything you want.

   Actually most people can learn how to play an instrument, but talent does play a big part determining how far you can go.

   Same thing, "I can't progress any further, because i lack the talent."
   It's a excuse for people who give up.
   It's true that some people advance much faster than others do.
   Those who are less "gifted", just have to work a bit harder.
   But hey, if you think talent does play a factor, then thats fine with me.
   I had discussions about talent far to many times already. xD

   Whether you call it 'talent' or being 'naturally gifted', that's just a result of doing more things earlier on in life.

   If somebody has a natural knack for learning music, it's likely 'cause they've been playing various instruments and listening to music since they were young.

   Still not an excuse, though~

    This really is a wonderful young man...

    Music has very mysterious therapeutic properties, I always find myself going to the piano when I feel sad or confused. I can imagine that it's done wonders for him; there's nothing like pouring your soul into an outlet as expressive and beautiful as music.

    I totally agree, although in my case i lack any talent or discipline so... yea, i still go listen to music at times like that.

    I hope he wins or atleast advances all the way to the finals, damn man i can't imagine going thought that, my mom broke her waist and she still has problems (been a year and still the same way).
    This does proves that no matter what if you try hard, you can succeed, making excuses like "I have no talents", "I can't do it, its impossible for me" are for the lazy, if you want to see inspiration read the manga beck.

    Thanks for the fix, i missed those. Although you forgot about setting fire to all of it after shooting it with guns.
